On Saturday 4th February, Billy Liberator and the Orbiteers played to a sold out show. With support from Amber Richmond, bringing with her a younger element to the audience, made for an enthusiastic crowd. The band were on form and along with ‘Companions’ standards, ‘Due South’ and ‘As Good As You Are’, they introduced a couple of new band-written songs, ‘Bring It Home’ and ‘Distance To Run’. Throwing in some covers, U2’s ‘New Years Day’ and Tom Petty’s ‘American Girl’, they finished off with a raucous ‘Rocking’ In The Free World’.
The gig went down so well that a further Orbiteers gig has been lined up for Saturday 7th October!
